Use AI as a Patient Tutor to Learn Anything

AI is a patient tutor available at any hour. It will happily explain the same thing five different ways. People use it to learn photography, a language, gardening or how a phone works.

Step by step

  1. Say what you want to learn. And what you already know.
  2. Ask for a short plan. Four weeks of fifteen-minute lessons, for example.
  3. Learn one step at a time. Ask it to teach step one, then quiz you.
  4. Say when you are lost. Explain that again with an example from everyday life.
  5. Check bigger facts. For anything important, confirm with a book or a trusted website.

A prompt you can copy

Type this into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini

I want to learn the basics of digital photography on my phone. I am a complete beginner. Make a 4-week plan with 15 minutes a day, and teach me day one.

Good to know. You can ask it to quiz you gently. Practice sticks better than reading.
